About Us

The charity was set up in 2013 in memory of our mother Cecila Olusola Ariyo and father Prince Adebayo Ariyo. The charity’s purpose has been to continue the charitable works of our late parents towards humanity.

The Trust fund has no share capital (Limited by Guarantee) or Incorporated Trustees.

Objectives:

Our main objective is to economically empower and support selected disadvantaged individuals (such as poor, homeless and motherless)  through the provision of access to::

  • Donation of financial assistance as approved by the board depending on submitted business plan.
  • Mentoring opportunities (if required).
  • Support for the acquisition of work skills and or experience.
  • Support for start up/growth of businesses (if required).

Eligibility Criteria for Accessing Support:

  • Any poor, homeless and motherless persons otherwise persons approved at the discretion of the Board.
  • All applications must be supported by 2 referees who must be willingly to make written representation on behalf of the applicant and the referee must be over 30 years of age.
  • Each application should be submitted with an amount of N500 (Five hundred naira only).

 

Board Membership:

  • Board members will be elected to four year terms.
  • Members are allowed to serve a maximum of two uninterrupted terms (eight continuous years)
  • Board members will be elected when there is a vacancy at the Annual General Meeting.
  • Election will be by members/donors at the discretion of the board members. Each donor will have only one vote irrespective of the amount donated as long as the minimum amount is met.
  • A list of donors and the amount donated shall be kept and updated monthly by the Board secretary.   Such information shall be kept securely and will not be shared with non-board members without the permission of the donor unless demanded by court of law.
  • Board members may claim travelling expenses for travel to Board meetings only at public transport rates.
  • The Board may seek donations from corporate bodies and individuals
